This item was originally intended for installation by a boat builder but arrived defective from the manufacturer. The boat builder reported this unit wasn’t installed due to a LED light defective on the STBD side of the ERC. The boat builder, who only installs parts on new boats, follows a policy of not using any items with defects, so this unit was not installed.

While we have no reason to suspect the unit is not fully functional, due to the complexity of the system are unable to bench test. In light of this, we will give the buyer a 30-day period to have this unit installed and tested by a certified Mercury technician to confirm functionality and if it is found faulty, return it for a full refund. Buyer assumes ALL liability and risk in purchasing, thoroughly testing and using this part.
