This unit was removed from a vessel that underwent a complete refit following a lightning strike. While it’s understood that not all components are necessarily affected in such cases, but replaced out of an abundance of caution. Due to the complexity of the system, we are unable to bench test. In light of this, we will give the buyer a 30-day period to have this unit installed and tested by a certified MTU technician to confirm functionality and if it is found faulty, return it for a full refund. Buyer assumes ALL liability and risk in purchasing, thoroughly testing and using this part. It shows no visible signs of damage, but does have some cosmetic blemishes.
