We recently acquired the inventory of a large marine parts distributor that went out of business. This is a new old stock item and is in excellent condition with the factory original packaging still intact.

We were able to determine this is a Quicksilver 392-805570A2 Ignition Coil based on a part number located on the factory original packaging.

This coil is a direct replacement for Mercury/Mercruiser 392-805570A1 and 392-7803A4.

It is interchangeable with the following:

• Sierra 18-5438
• GLM 72115
• Pertronix 40511
• Mallory 9-29701
• RedLine RL5438

The coil is designed for the following Mercruiser sterndrive engines with Thunderbolt IV and V ignition systems:

• 4.3L
• 5.0L
• 5.7L
• 6.2L
• 7.4L 
• 8.2L
