We recently acquired the inventory of a large marine parts distributor that went out of business. This is a new old stock hose that was left over from a spool in overall great condition.

We were able to determine this is a 36” long (3 ft.) piece of Shields 200-1380/Lloyds 11/00001 SAEJ2006R1 Marine Wet Exhaust based on the part number located on the item.

This hose has an inside diameter of 1-3/8″ inches.

This is a heavy-walled marine hose designed for use in wet exhaust and marine water applications crafted with premium fabric-reinforced linings. This hose is approved for SAE J2006 type R1, and constructed out of heavy-duty synthetic rubber reinforced with multi-ply synthetic cord able to withstand temperatures ranging from –20° to 200°F continuous, 250° intermittent.

It is compounded to resist engine heat, exhaust fumes, ozone, mild acids, engine coolant, and salt water and is firm enough to use where wire supports aren’t possible. This hose is meant to be used for engine water circulation, heat exchangers, heavy-duty discharge lines, and straight wet-exhaust connections.
