We recently acquired the inventory of a large marine parts distributor that went out of business. This is a new old stock item and is in great condition however, the factory original packaging wasn’t salvageable.

We were able to determine this is a Volvo Penta 838315 Seawater Strainer based on a part number located on the label on the unit.

This Sea Water Strainer is compatible with the following Volvo Penta Diesel Engines:

• MD40A
• TMD40 A / B / C
• TAMD40 A / B

Please note, this is not a full kit, only what you see in the photos is available and included in this sale.

The only items included are the strainer, housing, cover, and connecting pipes. None of the small hardware, mounting bracket, or retainers are included.
