We recently acquired the inventory of a large marine parts distributor that went out of business. This is a new old stock item and is in excellent condition however the factory original packaging wasn’t salvageable.

We were able to determine this is a Volvo Penta 851703 Adjusting Washer based on the part number located on the factory’s original label that came with other washers.

This washer is designed for Volvo Penta Reverse Gear MS2A-E and has a ratio of 2.4:1.

It is used in the following Volvo Penta motors:

• MD2010- C / D
• MD2020- C / D
• MD2030- C / D
• MD2040- C / D
• 120S- D / E
