We recently acquired the inventory of a large marine parts distributor that went out of business. This is a new old stock item in excellent condition, however, the factory original packaging was not salvageable.

We were able to determine this is a Volvo Penta 897679 Oil Plug.

This plug is a direct replacement for Volvo Penta 814179 and 981965.

It is designed for the Upper Housing in Volvo sterndrive motors.
