We recently acquired a large quantity of marine parts. This is a new old stock item in excellent condition, however, the factory original packaging wasn’t salvageable causing minor “shelf rash” during storage.

We were able to determine this is a Detroit Diesel 23509378 Piston Kit based on the part number located on the packaging and pistons themselves.
- Replaces Detroit Diesel 23522497 and Interstate-McBee 23522535
- Designed for Detroit Diesel IL71NA and V71NA engines
- X-HD 18.7:1 Crown Dome Pistons (5147650) that replace 23509001 and 23512413
- Cast iron
- 3 ring grooves
- For 4.250 in. bore dia.
- 1.505 in. dia. piston pin hole
- 4.554 in. overall height
