We recently acquired the inventory of a large marine parts distributor that went out of business.

Please note, the water pump on this unit is locked up and this unit is being sold with a “NO RETURNS” policy.

We were able to determine this is a GM 10243880 5.7L Small Block Motor based on the part number located on the unit.

Using the casting number, we found the following information:

This is a for parts item and is in good condition with no physical or obvious signs of extended use or abuse however, without any history or paperwork we have decided to list this unit as for parts/ not working.

This motor does show signs of “shelf” rash from extended storage in a humid warehouse in South Florida. Everything appears to be in good condition and free of major issues/ corrosion.

Please note, we did not bench test this unit, nor do we have the means to do so. We have no history on this motor including known hours/ mileage, application, or services performed.
