We recently acquired a large inventory of overstock items and spare components that were originally designated for installation on a vessel undergoing a major refit and repower project. When the project was halted prior to completion, all components were placed into storage.

This listing consists of a partial Rolls-Royce steering gear system. Based on the overall condition and documentation available, we believe these components were intended for installation as part of a larger steering system. Since we did not acquire the complete steering gear assembly, we are offering the major components individually and as a partial system to accommodate a wider range of replacement and repair applications.

Included in this offering are the valve block and rubber feedback unit shown in the photos. We also have Rolls-Royce schematics available that identify these components as part of a larger steering system and may be able to provide additional information upon request.

Both the valve block and feedback unit retain their original Rolls-Royce identification numbers. Please note that we did not acquire the main rotary steering gear housing or complete steering assembly. As a result, these components are being offered as individual replacement parts or as a partial system for shipyards, vessel owners, and marine service providers performing refit, repair, or maintenance work.

We are listing these components under the Remanufactured condition category out of an abundance of caution. While we do not have documentation confirming when, where, or by whom any refurbishment work may have been performed, many of the complete steering gear assemblies acquired as part of this project appear to have been removed from the original vessel, serviced or remanufactured, repainted, and then placed into storage for installation during the refit project.

Based on the condition, finish, and overall appearance of these components, we believe they may have undergone similar servicing prior to being placed into storage. However, because we cannot verify the refurbishment history, service records, or date of any work performed, we are representing them as remanufactured solely as a precaution and not as a guarantee of any specific refurbishment process.
