This item was reported to have been removed in working condition when the vessel was refit and may have some cosmetic blemishes from previous use (See Photos).

This thruster has been sitting in storage for some time. The oil reservoir is empty, and there is no visible oil remaining in the system. We believe the fluid was drained during removal; however, we cannot confirm this. Due to the absence of oil in the system, we did not rotate the propellers more than necessary during inspection.

The thruster is equipped with twin 12" counter-rotating brass propellers, both of which spin freely by hand. The motor is rated at 9 kW, 24V, and 12 HP.

Mounted directly to the thruster assembly are two control boxes: a main control/contactor box and an additional electrical connection box. The identification tag on the thruster lists Build Code 26493, which we believe is an American Bow Thruster internal build number.
