We recently acquired a large inventory of overstock items. This cowling is in the manufacturer's original packaging but may have minor cosmetic blemishes from storage (see photos).

Please note that the cowling has a reflective surface, so some of the background may appear in the photos. There is a minor scuff mark on the top near the smaller, centered Mercury sticker. We've done our best to show this in the close-up photos, where you may also notice some slight surface markings. Other than this area, the cowling is in great condition.

Check Your Serial Number: Outboard cowlings are highly specific. Buyers must verify their engine serial number on the transom bracket before purchasing. If the serial number is below
3B266064, this part will not fit correctly.
Will NOT Fit L6 Models: This cowl is exclusively designed for the newer 5.7L V10 platform. It cannot be used on older generation Mercury Inline-6 (L6) 400HP or 400R Verado motors.
Will NOT Fit V6, V8, or V12 Blocks: It is uniquely contoured for the physical frame layout, latching alignment, and air intake tracks of the V10 engine block.
Decaled Without Horsepower Design: This OEM assembly includes factory graphics and silver accent stripes but arrives from Mercury without a physical "400" horsepower number emblem. This makes it visually versatile if being mixed onto multi-engine setups, though its internal airflow metrics are matched for the 400HP schematic.
