We recently acquired a large inventory of overstock items and spare components that were originally designated for installation on a vessel undergoing a refit and repower project. When the project was halted before completion, all components were placed into storage.

The actuator and solenoid have been coated with a thermal insulating/protective coating and sealed. While we cannot confirm the original application, we believe this coating was applied to help protect the actuator and associated components from environmental conditions, heat exposure, or other operating elements.
