We recently acquired the inventory of a large marine parts distributor that went out of business.

This appears to be a re-manufactured item due to the entire unit being painted black  which warranted the “used listing status” however, it is in good working order with no hiccups or issues with any of the moving parts. Please note, we did not bench test this unit nor do we have the equipment or any other means to do so.

The drive coupling and attaching nut are damaged, with the coupling plate being slightly bent, please see photos 4 and 5 for more regarding these issues.

We were able to determine this is a Borg Warner 10-18-004 Velvet Drive 72C 1.52:1 Marine Boat Transmission Gearbox based on the part number located on the units tag.

This transmission is currently set up for  standard rotation however can be adjusted to be counter by adjusting the hydraulic pump’s orientation. Please note this transmission does not come with any coolers, adapters, or damper plates.
