This Mercury CDS diagnostic unit requires a separate software license/authorization to operate. The buyer/customer is responsible for obtaining and maintaining their own valid license from Bosch/Mercury. The unit is sold as shown, and no software license or authorization is included.

CDS Version 10.00: A legacy Mercury/MerCruiser diagnostic platform used for older engine families. It is generally associated with the older Bosch-based system and legacy media ID licensing.

CDS G3: Mercury’s newer standalone PC diagnostic application for modern SmartCraft-enabled systems. It supports newer engine families, including V6, V8, and V12 models, as well as Mercury Joystick Piloting and Zeus systems.
