The Centroid CGFP-42-WS-24V-10/180 is an electronic, solid-state liquid level sending unit (also known as a tank sender). It is a commercial-grade sensor used to measure how full a fluid tank is and transmit that information directly to a dashboard gauge or monitoring system.Unlike traditional tank senders that rely on a mechanical float moving up and down a metal rod, this unit is completely solid-state, meaning it has no moving parts to wear out, stick, or break.

This specific sensor is designed to monitor fluid levels in deep tanks across several industries:

• Marine & Boats: Used in deep fuel (gas/diesel), fresh water, or holding tanks where constant boat movement would cause traditional mechanical floats to bounce wildly or fail.
