Mercury part number 100-8M0142172 is an OEM black top engine cowling assembly (top cowl)

This cowl assembly fits Mercury 4.6L V8 FourStroke outboard engines starting at serial number 2B529482 and up.It is compatible with these recreational model lines:

Mercury Verado V8 (250 HP and 300 HP)

Mercury Pro XS V8 (225 HP, 250 HP, and 300 HP)

This part has been superseded by part number 8M0182323.

Please take note this cowling has minor cosmetic blemishes and has very minor scratches on one side of the cover, please see photos for details.
