We recently acquired a large inventory of overstock items. This item is missing the manufacturer’s original packaging and has some cosmetic blemishes from being stored without the original packaging. This particular staircase has more noticeable scuffing and surface marks than some of the other units we have had available. Nothing appears major, although some areas may benefit from smoothing or repolishing. We have included close-up photos showing these areas. Please review all photos carefully, as the item has a highly reflective finish and some blemishes may be difficult to see depending on the angle and lighting. We have done our best to photograph the condition as clearly as possible.

This item was intended for use on a Viking 66 Convertible as a salon spiral staircase. The staircase is designed to be installed with a base underneath, which adds additional height to allow the staircase to reach the upper floor from inside the boat. The underside of each step is polished, as it is designed to be visible from below, while the top side is not polished because a teak panel or other step material would be installed over it.

Unfortunately, we were unable to find a photo of this staircase installed on a Viking 66 Convertible. We were, however, able to find a photo showing what appears to be the same staircase installed on a Viking 68, which we have included for reference. We believe this may have been a less common option or an addition included on only some boats. The staircase shape and design shown in the reference photo match the staircase we have, so we believe it still provides a useful reference for how the staircase is installed.

Standing on its own as it would when installed, the staircase measures approximately 44" in height. Due to the curved design, the steps are deeper on one side than the other. Each step is approximately 23" wide, with the depth measuring about 10" on the wider side and 5" on the narrower side.
